These classic Aussie biscuits are fortified with AdVital, high in protein and energy dense. Commemorate ANZAC Day the nutritious way!

Yields: 20 biscuits/10 serves
1 cup (135g) plain flour
1 cup (155g) brown sugar
1 cup (83g) rolled oats
½ cup (45g) coconut
5 scoops (175g) AdVital
2 tbsp (58g) golden syrup
4 tbsp (80g) water
½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
1Preheat oven to 200°C conventional/180°C fan forced and line a baking tray with baking paper.
2Sift the flour into a bowl. Add the sugar, rolled oats, coconut and AdVital.
3Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the golden syrup and water.
4Stir the bicarbonate of soda into the heated butter syrup liquid.
5Add the liquid to the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
6Roll the mixture into balls about 5cm in diameter and place on the prepared baking tray, spaced at least 4cm apart. Flatten each ball slightly then place in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through and lightly golden.
Hints & Tips
Make sure you use whole rolled oats for this recipe. Instant oats will spread the mixture and make the biscuits too flat.
